Mike Day - President

Mike and his wife Noribette have been missionaries in Costa Rica for nearly 30 years. Their passion is that people will know and love God. They love to serve people, communities and ministries in a holistic way. They currently serve as missionaries under Commission To Every Nation (https://www.cten.org/).

Jerry Mays- Secretary

Jerry is passionate about ministering to children and young people.  He and wife, Jill, have been serving in various areas within Children and Student Ministries since they started attending Highlands Community Church (HCC) in Renton, Washington in 2002.  Jerry also serves as the Awana Ministry Director (since 2011) and on the Board of Elders (since 2012) at HCC.  He has a great fondness for Latin America and has participated in five mission trips to Ecuador and Costa Rica.  Jerry and Jill were married in 1985 and have two sons, Ryan and Tyler.  A retired aerospace engineer and former Iowa farm boy, Jerry is a serious gardener, grows a variety of fruit and berries, and enjoys using power equipment of all kinds.

Sam Newell- Treasurer

Sam is passionate about the local church and has had the blessing of serving in full time church ministry since 2010. He has served as a Youth Pastor and  Family and Outreach Pastor, where he had the opportunity to lead multiple mission trips to Latin America. And now he serves at New Hope Community Church in Lake Tapps, Washington as an Associate Pastor. Sam has been married to his wonderful wife Rachel since 2011 and they have been blessed with two kids, William and Evangeline.
