This project is fully funded and complete! We built the benches and purchased a 12’ X 20’ canopy. During the covid-19 pandemic, the clinic wants to use this extra space for patients with covid-19 symptoms. After this crisis, the space will serve as a waiting room for those needing blood work done. People wait several hours here, standing up, either under the sun or in the rain. The benches and canopy will provide a temporary “waiting room” for these patients. The Costa Rican government does plan on building a larger facility in the next few years.
